A library card in Berlin costs 10 euros per year, and the amount of content (digital as well) you get for that is insane. I love it. (a similar offer in Amsterdam would be more than 60 euros per year, just to compare to where I come from)

I've been doing some group strength training, it's the kind of exercises you'd do at the gym except that they take the thinking out of it for you, and it's honestly great. I really dislike having to track reps, sets, breaks, weights, different exercises. This setup allows me to just do 💪

Sometimes I feel like our society only sees the lives shared online as worth living, which is just selection bias (I see the lives & commentary online) and as someone who doesn't enjoy posting on most social media anymore, I sometimes feel like my life is "nothing". I don't know how to combat that.

One of the most annoying pet peeves I have is the general lack of consistency and thought about capitalization in UI. The moment you notice this, you'll never see anything else and it's annoying for both you and everyone else.

I went to the physiotherapist for the first time and she asked me what sports I did. I listed my classes: dancing, indoor cycling/spinning, jumping, and yoga. At some point she asked: do you also do outdoor cycling? Uuh.. yes. I suppose I do, I just don't see it as exercise, it's how I get around 😅

Some days I really miss the time I used to work as a waitress when I was studying. Working a directly customer-facing job can be absolute crap, but the pay off when you've clearly made someone happy with good food or a pretty-looking latte macchiato is amazing. Immediate energy-booster.
