I have a question for anesthesiologists: HOW did you get the training for those crazy difficult airways? (Like traumas, stenosis, etc) Is it just from doing so many less difficult ones that you’re able to just tackle anything? Or is there specific training for it? #medsky

One of my best friends from childhood came over last night with her husband so that hubs and I could meet her toddler. The little girl apparently chose a stethoscope at her 1 year birthday party, so I brought mine out for her to see. She immediately put it around her neck 😂 it was so cute!!

I will die on this hill: Every level 1-3 emergency room in the country should have a pharmacist and social worker staffed 24/7. I’ve been in ERs that don’t, and the differences are crystal clear.
