I am still on the struggle bus- BUT, a lot of SOLUTIONS to the bus are moving forward and while not comfortable, I'm just relieved to have confirmation. To quote Jem in Rilla of Ingleside, "[for Walter], Realities never scared him—only his imagination could do that." same Walter, same.

So apparently the Marie Antoinette style exhibition that they had in London is currently in Yokohama, and the website says it's a TOURING, INTERNATIONAL exhibition. Join my prayer circle that it'll at least stop in NYC, I will get on that Amtrak so fast their head will spin, s2g

Let me get this straight: we voted for a fascist, realized how terrible he was during COVID, voted for the other guy, and now 4 years later are thinking of voting for the fascist's party AGAIN? I am cursed to live parallel American and Brazilian lives

Maybe hot take? But I prefer it when an artist uses tiktok to promote a song that is *already out* When a complete unknown comes across my page with a fire snippet but the full song is out October 15th, I WILL FORGET ABOUT YOU

Marie Antoinette was a scorpio sun (samesies), libra moon and Cancer ascendant, with Venus in scorpio I have nowhere else to share it but if you're gay you know why this makes absolute sense

hot take if I go to an interview, I am simply too locked in. An ice coffee would distract ME from trying to sell my skills The condensation Having to think of one more thing to hold Picking it up to drink at the wrong time the "schuuuflunk" noise the ice makes as it melts in your cup

And finishing off with my classic list of games lol

(AGREED, this list was much easier to do- I used to watch more anime than read manga lol)

Some people are creating this list as "manga that shapes me" and others as "essential manga"; so I did both. First shaped me in the 2000s, second is what I consider my essential manga list (some overlap!)

Folks, it case you haven’t been keeping up with the news this year, we have an election on November 3rd. I’m not here to stress you out about it. Quite the opposite. If you don’t yet have plans for that day (besides voting), consider serving as a poll worker at your local election site. (thread)

If I may get on my soap box: No Kings is a tactic. It is not the strategy and no one involved in putting it on considers it sufficient on its own. It's a mass show of defiance that's also served as an onramp to the kind of local organizing work that's necessary to shift power

perhaps the only completely correct observation I’ve ever made

A tweet from me from 2023: angry Internet dude behavior is easy to understand once you realize 90% of their anger comes from not being made horny by something they wanted to make them horny or being made horny by something they didn’t want to make them horny

God im still mourning Dolly- this is weirdly the most painful celeb death to me. It’s weird just in the sense that I didn’t have much connection to her, her music, or any of her media/properties (I already had plans for Dollywood next year tho). Maybe it’s because dad left too this year
