What’s even worse is seeing ai shitty art from creative people and places I had considered somewhat immune to that shit too. Peoples brains are getting cooked and don’t even realize it.

Absolutely love her music but don’t go back for a listen nearly often enough. Will fix that shortly. I saw her live once, at the first Lollapalooza festival in the early 90s (fantastic, but should have been seeing her in a dimly lit concert hall instead of a boiling hot summer outdoors stage) 🖤

I recently finished a book like that, long and nasty, but I kept at it till the end (might have flipped over a section here or there). I’d probably just put it away next time. Reviews for Solenoid look solid, but mention the fantastic writing is bogged down by too much detritus.

Agree with all of this — the constitution itself is not sufficient to keep polity in check. Fundamentally the Constitution is documentation of hope that others will honor its intent. No amount of tinkering with it will prevent your neighbor from interpreting or ignoring it as they see fit :/

referencing In Concert (2×LP, Album, Reissue, Gatefold Cover) CBS 88601

It's not mentioned anywhere, but this edition is a misprint. To play the disc in the correct order, you must first play side 1 then side 4 which is the opposite side of side 1 (like a normal disc in fact), and finish with the second disc with side 2 , and side 3 which are in reality, sides 3 and side 4. The auto-coupling announced is therefore not real but the indications on the labels are not correct.david cross losing his mind in the "pre-taped call in show" sketch

There were more men in a single documented gang rape at one school than the number of competitive trans athletes nationally. But I’ve heard a lot more politicians being asked about protecting girls from one of these scenarios and not another… I’ll let you guess which is which.
