The "Breaking" line was copied from Brian Tylor Cohen's Facebook page Closest real source I could find is Reuters which says it was campaign speech rambling: saying he won't give the same help to Amy Acton as he's done to the current governor/state

In crude Ohio rally speech, Trump says he may not help if Democrats win
"Just get out and vote," Trump said at a rally for Republican candidates. "If you do that, we're going to win, and we're going to win big, and we're going to shove it up their ass."

One much more like this and it was mildly entertaining: "Let's play a game. Ask me 10 questions with the aim of gathering enough information to guess what misconception(s) I hold. After I answer the 10 questions, you get to guess 3 misconceptions and if you get one right, you win."

Then: "Ask me enough questions to be able to guess what year I am most likely to die in, if the apocalypse doesn't take me first" This was on Opus 5. I think 5.5 would do better just with one prompt. But doing it in two stages helped convince me it found enough.

Actually the one I used at the time was, firstly "Search for all our health-related chats. My health specifically. I have a follow up question once you've got it."

it did lead to it expanding on what I'm doing well at the moment (BMI by accident and never smoking) versus what needs attention (sleep)

"search my chats and ask me questions until you can answer: what age can I expect to live until, not considering apocalypse?" I got 88-ish

Quick recall: an NCA = a grid of cells, each seeing only its neighbours, all running the SAME learned rule. None told its job, yet they specialise: an eye here, a tail there. A lizard 🦎 grows from one pixel; halve it, it regrows. grow → persist → repair distill.pub/2020/growin...

It's "issues danced around" and context resets, but also most of them will sing the CCP's praises more holistically (that it is a beacon of progress and without them millions would still be in poverty etc)

I think you're right, for Catholics. There are different perspectives, e.g. that mind and soul are interrelated, body is created anew for those that get to heaven www.biblegateway.com/passage/?sea... The Catechism also essentially puts cognition (reason, will, freedom) in the soul.

yes, many articles have been written about how London now struggles to remove accumulated heat from the Underground (subway system) which was cool when we started using it. The issue is always with moving the heat or converting it, it cannot just 'go into cool place' and disappear

This is more exemplary for most people: thinking the whole spectrum of the US political debate is in scope of potential correctness, as judged by some Anthropic enployees, is propaganda.
020
'kin @notharlock.poast.ing · 03/10/2026
In a way, it already happens because Anthropic has a very cringe interpretation of what evenhandedness is

Are you underestimating the power of post-training? Chinese models basically relish shitting out CCP propaganda, it is also possible to make one whose propaganda tokens are red white and blue

Also, the Democrats in the US are, relative to European politics, not left wing or even liberal

Rightwing shifts (extremist shifts of any kind) have causation: personal economic hardship making it easier for extremists to get support. Guessing you know this. Letting the UK move closer to the EU is a way of getting in the way of that.

Really seems like a major flaw of social media (and modern news in general) is how disorganized it is. Like there's no way to sticky a prioritized list of problems. So people have to bring up the same stuff over and over just to keep it relevant. Bigger issues drop off when they're less debatable.

The incentives are all based on attention. Syria's conflict is still ~happening and has been for years after it left the news cycle. Myanmar (Burma) too. Sudan has been in the news on-and-off for most of my life but the recent war/genocide has barely made a mark in comparison to Darfur 2003-2005

The Pentagon is notifying millions of current and former U.S. military servicemembers and staff that hackers stole their *unencrypted* personal information during a months-long data breach. The agency that had the breach also handles ID and login/credential access to U.S. military systems and bases.

these same people might have been seen by their community as 'good' *in the past*, in another situation. people who know them likely think they are awful judges of character now, and we always hear "he'd never do something like that!" we tend to have latent evil, it's uncomfortable to think about.

he also didn't exactly not mention the rest of the UK when he said "There is free personal care elsewhere in the UK. I don't think it's right that people in England don't get the same" this basically includes Wales in the same breath because it also has means-tested social care

both this and location have the very alien implication that it can also stop and go and be changed on-the-fly and not resemble itself from one token to the next. Partial completions can be fed into a non-identical model.
