I tend to say this a lot about contract extensions I guess, but: this was the most no-brainer extension that ever didn't brainer. The difference in on-field product with and without Banda is MASSIVE. She doesn't just bring her own (massive) scoring prowess; she makes everyone better.

This is comically incorrect. Parton was vocally proud of her status as an LGBTQ+ icon. She got death threats for writing a song for a movie about a trans person. She supported BLM. She funded the Moderna vaccine and encouraged everyone to get vaccinated. She was as far from neutral as you can be.
