I'm by no means a political strategist, so this is just an observation - but the differences between Talarico and Ossoff here are super interesting to me. Is the difference in tone because Ossoff is facing a milquetoast "regular" candidate and Talarico someone that EVERYONE knows is a disaster?

Over the last week, lots and lots of people have commented on the forthcoming public execution of the Fort Hood gunman. One of the most striking arguments, to me, is pointing out that, even if you support the death penalty, killing someone *in public* does moral injury to those who watch it.

Also, one of the best things about autocorrect has always been automatically adding punctuation to contracted words ("im" becomes "I'm"). Now, for reasons unknown, this doesn't work for the first word in a text/comment/post/etc. Baffling, unhelpful, and annoying.

For the longest time, autocorrect recognized that if you intentionally started a word with a capital letter, that probably meant you intended to spell it exactly how you did. No more - even with that capital, it will attempt to change. So if your name isn't in the 100 or so most common, you're SOL.
