Question for education people - do you teach PSHE, PSHCE or RSHE? What do children call this? The umbrella of Personal Development is huge and so is there a case for 're-naming' these sessions (I understand PD is much broader than just lessons but aren't the letters a mouthful for kids?) #Edu

“People will never forget how you made them feel.” Maya Angelou There is always time for compassion. Always time for kindness. To others, and to ourselves. 🧡 #kindness #compassion #humanness #positivity Picture by Luke John Matthew Arnold
A bright, playful illustration on a white background, framed by a thick, hand drawn green outline shaped like an uneven arch. Inside the frame, bold black hand lettered text reads: “There’s always time to be compassionate and kind.” Two simple flowers sit on either side of the text, one blue with a yellow centre on the left and one red with a pink centre on the right. “Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you.”Anne Lamott A gentle reminder at this time of year. Not everything needs fixing or improving. Sometimes slowing things down is enough. 🧡 #kindness #positivity #SelfCare Picture by Simply Anxious
A soft illustrated image on a cream background with a small Christmas tree at the top and the words “If it all feels too much…” Below are nine sticky note style prompts, including letting go a little, slowing down and making space for yourself, letting go of shoulds, finding peace in nature, keeping things simple, replacing rushing with being, not analysing everything, being patient with yourself, and reminding yourself that things will get better. The overall tone is calm, reassuring, and supportive. Picture by Simply Anxious.

“Caring for myself is not self indulgence, it is self preservation.” Audre Lorde We’re allowed to pause and look after yourself. You matter too. #kindness #positivity #SelfCare Picture by Positively Present
A bright illustrated grid titled Self Care for December, featuring small colourful drawings such as biscuits shaped like trees and stars, a cassette tape, a snow-day cat in a scarf, a red and blue letterbox, a calendar showing the 13th, holly, a candle, a pair of snowflakes, a window decorated with festive lights, a berry sprig, a shovel in snow, a cowboy hat and boot, a small vintage train, and a cosy snow-covered cabin. Each illustration is paired with a short phrase about self care, including enjoying moments mindfully, replaying happy memories, sending love into the world, making plans for next year, forgiving mistakes, identifying unique traits, keeping track of goals, taking care of your space, and staying close to those you love. “Do not believe everything you think.” Allan Lokos We all have moments when our thoughts run ahead of us. We can take a breath and come back to what’s actually happening. We don’t have to follow every thought that appears. 🧡 #kindness #positivity #SelfCare Picture by selfcare.recipe
A soft pink illustration made up of nine hand-drawn Christmas-tree shapes, each decorated in simple doodle-style designs like bows, spots, ribbons, or stripes. Each tree carries a reminder for overthinkers. Top row: a pink tree with bows saying ‘Not every thought has to be solved immediately’; a green tree with pink ribbons saying ‘Mistakes = human, not “I’m bad”’; a pink tree saying ‘You can pause, breathe, and reply later.’ Middle row: a dark green tree saying ‘You don’t have to earn rest’; in the centre the heading ‘Reminders for the Over Thinkers’; a pink tree with red dots saying ‘You’re allowed to say no.’ Bottom row: a pink swirled tree saying ‘One awkward moment doesn’t define you’; a pale pink tree saying ‘Just because you think it doesn’t mean it’s true’; and a very light pink tree wrapped.
