The great beast came again last night, & flew away with my father. He died this morning. Mom in Nov, Dad today. (Even lost my kitty too, at Christmas) Yet the world keeps turning, the sun keeps rising, the birds keep singing. My dad always loved the birds… Hug your loved ones close 💕

Lost mom at Thanksgiving. Put my kitty (my only buddy) to sleep over Christmas. Dad went into the hospital end of Jan, and today he was moved into hospice. Dad is at peace with it, me not so much. I just wanna say: hug your peeps, look at the sun & moon & stars & sea & the birds, sing dance & play 💕

Once on the Alaskan tundra I saw a short-eared owl (like in the photo) gliding by, and on a whim I made a little mouse squeaking sound. BAM that owl’s head whipped around and it STARED at me & banked into a huge 360 circle allllll the way around me, staring me down like “WHERE IS THE MOUSE MF’ER”
