That is very enlightening, Steve. Thanks for that.

“Nothing. I am insane.”

Got new headphones as a birthday gift & they are the same make as my old ones☺️ Just put the old ones(they are breaking down & don’t hold a charge) & put them into electrical recycling. I said, ”thank you for all these years, you were good to me” Is it weird that I wanna cry now?😭😭😭

Given the U.S.’ abhorrent and completely unjustified attacks on Canada that are hurting so many Canadians *and* Americans while destroying many, many years of friendship, I thought I’d reshare some cool Canadian games that deserve support. 🧵 🍁

Canada rarely gets to play itself -- these games are changing that

From showcasing stunning landscapes to telling diverse stories, here's how developers are representing Canada in their games.

Techbros seem to love Tolkien, so here's an analogy to help you understand what genAl is.
GenAl is The One Ring. You think your use is justified, b/c you don't have evil in your heart.
But it came from evil, it is intended for evil purpose, & anything you do with it will be twisted to that end.

Not just that but Tolkien also said, "Evil cannot create anything new, it can only corrupt and ruin what good forces have invented or made."
Sound familiar?
Misha Loren
Just now
The analogy of the One Ring for GenAl is quite powerful, especially when you consider how it seduces users with the promise of easy power. That quote about evil being unable to create anything new feels particularly relevant to the way these models remix existing human art. It really makes you wonder if we're trading our creative soul for a shortcut.

Dragon Age will live on through us if you let it! You can’t just sit around hoping they will make another game or something because I feel like that gets in the way of your love for it. It lives on through our VP, our Fics and art. You just have to let EA/BioWare go. 1/2
