Honestly think we need to embrace the French attitude towards many things “Pas aujourd’hui.” Basically, I’ll get to it, but not today. Too many things in the US are treated like it’s always an emergency/urgent. Unless you are an actual, doctor, firefighter, etc, it’s not.

Dear God. Your savings account isn’t taxed unless you make interest on it. And even then! It’s not like you have millions in the bank. Most people don’t even have thousands in the bank. And unless you are doing a 401k, that isn’t taxed until you start withdrawing money!

I absolutely hate it when conservatives bring up California’s high speed rail project as an example of a way the state government wastes money. It was enacted by a Proposition! The people voted for it, not the legislators or governors. It’s not some Icetown boondoggle!

Kevin Lincoln needs to stop those insulting commercials. Taxes are NOT the reason gas prices are so high. 63¢ a gallon is pittance. Gas will still be over $6/gallon even if they went down that much.
