I went back-and-forth about this. I’ve finally made peace that, for now, Substack is the only platform that can do what I need it to do, with the $0 budget I have. I still have people telling me it’s funded by “Nazis” (at this point, not sure what isn’t). It’s the only space with an “audience.”

Natalie Harp's letters have the same manic joylessness and obsessive fixation that I found in QAnon social media. The messianic fawning over Trump, the neglecting of basic bodily needs, the self-flagellating belief that they'll never be good enough. They're all signs of a deeply unwell person.
