My dog died today. I am so heartbroken. She was my right hand girl. My co-dependent furry daughter. 🩷 My reason for waking up in the morning. 17.5 y.o. She got me through deaths, illness, empty nest syndrome and lymphoma last year. She was my best friend. Please tell me she’s still around me.

I feel the most anonymous here but I wanted to share that my sweet 17.5 year old dog Mylee isn’t doing well. She has kidney disease and is losing weight. She’s eating but is weak. She has been with me through so many health challenges, including lymphoma last year. 1/2

Living on Long Island, our monthly electric bill went from $390 a month (2025) to $473 a month. Our property taxes went up $1000 since last year. Oil went up $1/gallon since December. We paid 2.859/gal in December and paid 3.859/gal last week. Never mind insurance hikes & med costs. 💔
