My dog died today. I am so heartbroken. She was my right hand girl. My co-dependent furry daughter. 🩷 My reason for waking up in the morning. 17.5 y.o. She got me through deaths, illness, empty nest syndrome and lymphoma last year. She was my best friend. Please tell me she’s still around me.

She’s been with me through my kids growing up & moving out, through my husband becoming disabled and losing parts of him to that. She’s my best friend & my snuggly sweetheart and I’m really afraid that part of me will go with her. She’s the reason I wake up in the morning. I’m so scared. 💔💔💔💔💔

I feel the most anonymous here but I wanted to share that my sweet 17.5 year old dog Mylee isn’t doing well. She has kidney disease and is losing weight. She’s eating but is weak. She has been with me through so many health challenges, including lymphoma last year. 1/2

I get Ivig (for 10 yrs now!) Pls know it gets easier as the body adjusts to it. Encourage lots of water&pre-meds like Benadryl&acetaminophen, to help with side effects&risk of allergic reaction. I also went from 4 days in a row every month to 2 days every 2 weeks&it helped me tolerate it better.
