A fascinating editorial decision from the BBC, to make the headline a scaremongering “AUTISM AND ADHD ARE BEING OVERDIAGNOSED”, and then, four bullet points later, have the author of the report quoted as essentially saying “nah, that’s bullshit, actually”.
ADHD and autism at risk of over-diagnosis, says report, as author warns of rise in mental ill health
Summary
• An official review in England finds there is a risk of people being over-diagnosed with
ADHD and autism - three key findings from the report
• As well as neurodevelopmental conditions, the review looks at mental ill health, particularly in younger people. Our health correspondent explains the difference
• It was commissioned earlier this year after Wes Streeting, then the health secretary, said there was an "over-diagnosis" of mental health conditions
• Speaking to Radio 4's Today programme earlier, review chair Prof Peter Fonagy said Streeting was "with respect, completely wrong"

Apparently people are sharing this far and wide on social media, which I think is horrible. This could cripple ICE operations. PLEASE do not share this.

Slightly confused to hear that the the rocket hitting the moon was an accident. They weren't aiming it at the moon. They didn't want it to hit anything. So what? They were aiming it at space? And they missed?

Barenaked Ladies @barenakedladies.com are back in the UK this December. I really can't recommend them enough. They are brilliant. And the bonus is - They've had some amazing support acts over the years but I have to say the guy they've got with them this time is my all time favourite.
The picture is of the poster for the Barenaked Ladies Yuletide Ride Tour in the UK this December. It shows Santa giving it rock-fingers with a sack of presents on his back zooming towards you across snow-capped mountains, on a skateboard for some reason. You would've thought he would be on a snowboard seeing as how he's on the snow, but no, it's clearly a skateboard, you can see the wheels. This maybe due to some kind of North Pole injunction on depicting Santa on a snowboard that BNL have cleverly bypassed by adding the wheels i don't know but it doesn't matter the point is I am supporting them, that's the funny joke I was telling earlier about their support act being my favourite because it's me, ha ha ha. I find myself hilarious, if only others did too. Also on the poster it says "Yule Love It!" which is their joke of course and laughing at that is what got me the gigs in the first place. Whatever, you should come to one of these shows. Or all of them, a lot of people do, they are that good. Honestly Barenaked Ladies are the best live band I have ever seen. Incredibly talented musically, and in between the songs? Seriously they are wet your pants funny. So, do yourself a favour and get tickets.

If you want to see me & Antonio Forcione beforehand you can do that too by visiting wotitalian.com Antonio is an amazing guitar player you will not be disappointed and it would be great to have you in the audience.

Wow! you can go on forever on here can't you? When you post you're restricted to a measly 300 characters, on ALT you can write your own Bible! Anyway, it's been really nice to talk to you let's meet up soon.

Oh my god there's still buckets of space left

OK.

So, one time I went with Kevin Hearn from BNL to visit John Lennon's old house in Liverpool and it was shut but a sign outside said, "If closed call this number" so Kevin called the number and it was an answering machine and the message he left, in an impressive scouse accent was, "I've lost me keys."

Can I just say something...? 🧣
A tweet from the @ArchaeologyArt account which shows a knitted belt from the Byzantine Empire, dating from c.420-600 AD. It looks a lot like Tom Baker's scarf from Doctor Who.

A reminder of a pretty etymology to brighten the day. The ‘daisy’ takes its name from the Old English ‘dæges ēage’, ‘day’s eye’, because it opens its petals at dawn, and closes them again at dusk.

As a vet, I stand in solidarity with the penguins of Heard Island. My team has reached out to the ambassador and I can confirm we are negotiating a new krill export deal to compensate for the economic impact they're facing from these tariffs. Noot Noot✊ www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
