Uika laying next to Sakichan in bed just watching her sleep because she had a bad dream. It gave her a rush of anxiety, but she doesn’t want to be a bother by waking her since she works so hard. Just thinking about her waking eyes and big stretch in the morning enough to easily calm her down anyway

One thing I notice is a huge gulf between yuri manga and yuri-in-anime. In yuri manga it is absolutely commonplace for characters to have sexual feelings, and to explore these sexual feelings in a way important to the plot.

i think about this a lot when the conversation turns to, “Is ___ yuri or not?” which often tends to get lost in the technical definitions, ie “well ackshually, yuri is anything featuring close relationships between women 🤓” but like. what i really want to know is, are the characters lesbian/sapphic?
