I am an absolute mess today. I booked a click and collect Tesco shop for tomorrow yet confidently left the house to collect it at the correct time 🤡today🤡 I’ve cried at not one but two TikTok’s and have failed entirely to either rest or be productive.

When I was off work and on very strong painkillers I started watching Lucifer on Netflix. (I haven’t checked but I don’t think it’s on that list.) I ended up becoming very fond of it though and finished it last night. I’m a bit sad now.

Didn’t manage to get a face to face appointment with the GP today but did have a phone call. The line wasn’t very good but I swear he said something about the xray showing arthritis. I’m going in on Friday and have some stronger painkillers to collect tomorrow. Trying not to overthink.

Fantasia (1940) inspired drawing. I think I could’ve gone a little heavier with the chaos outside but we’ll try again with fresh drawings this October. I like how the clouds turned out. Trying to balance my sloppy lines with more detail can be tricky but I think we achieved a good result.

I’ve had to take another day off today because of my motherfucking neck. I’m at my wits end in all honesty. I’ve tried massage, acupuncture, an osteopath, stupidly strong pain meds. I’ve been doing my physio exercises every day. Nothing is helping. Going to try and see the GP again tomorrow.

There are some amazing wooden carved sculptures in the park this dragon one is my favourite I think. I like to think she’s protecting the little people who live in the houses within her wings 🐉

These look like nice doggies don’t they. But one of them is actually the devil.

It’s the Spaniel. She is the middle of three dogs who are all sitting nicely because they’re about to be given some treats. The golden retriever (rear) and the cockerpoo (front) are both looking at the camera but the Spaniel is looking away as if deep in thought. In fact she is battling an intrusive thought and in approximately 30 seconds that intrusive thought will win. Whilst I’m distracted putting the treat bag and my phone away she will run down the hill back to the main road where, when we crossed a short time ago she noticed an intriguing smell in the middle of the pedestrian crossing. She will briefly stop traffic whilst she licks the tarmac before she is hoisted back into the park by her harness. And reprimanded for being a very naughty girl. She will have no regrets.

Okay so @defector.com has had an odd glitch since the site redesign a couple of weeks back where the wrong photo and headline are often put together on the main page and I was going to ask them about fixing it but this just happened and as far as I'm concerned they have to leave it as is.
