The @dalfaculty.bsky.social returned to the bargaining table with the Dalhousie Board of Governors at 4pm ADT on Friday, September 12. Meanwhile, the DFA held its fourth rally on the same day. The union has been locked out since August 20th.

After locking out faculty and blocking email account access for 3 weeks, Dalhousie University admin is now “providing email access to ensure an efficient return to work”. Never mind that an agreement (contract) has not been signed nor voted on by anyone 🙃 Posturing and misinformation! Madness.

Dalhousie university threatens faculty with a 48 hr lockout notice during labour negotiations. Essentially devaluing faculty contributions to the university mandate. #dobetter @dalhousieu.bsky.social #KeepDalStrong
