It's so sad to see what happened to Ikumi Nakamura. It's rare to see such a strong personality step out into the public in game dev, someone who seemed uniquely capable of being public facing and selling their vision to you, and I was hoping to see more from her and her studio.

This has been studied quite a bit, the solar panels create a sort of greenhouse effect for the plants underneath them while also generating energy which feels like it should be cheating but is real and literally only has upsides.
