The Ukrainian city of Bakhmut - before the russians weren't there, and after they came. Now the city's name is rarely mentioned; it has faded from the news cycle. Today, other cities in my country are fighting for their survival, just like the locals who live in them.

The question isn't why Putin continues the war. It's why he can't end it.
End it, and a million armed men with combat trauma and broken promises come home to ask what it was for. End it, and the war economy — the only growth engine left — shuts off, taking the salaries of every region that now lives on coffin payments and shell quotas. End it, and the blame question opens: who lost the fleet, the gas market, the 19 NATO-to-32 map, the million men?
Wars of choice become wars of survival — not for the country, for the regime.
Putin isn't fighting Ukraine anymore. He's fighting the peace, because the peace is the only front where he loses personally.

A court in Munich declared that Google is liable for their "AI summaries" and all its hallucinations. This brings "AI" slop in line with all other products: "AI" is basically the only product where a provider can deliver unchecked garbage and put all liability on the consumer.

Landmark German ruling declares Google's AI Overviews are Google's own words and makes it liable for false answers
A German regional court has ruled that Google is directly liable for the content of its AI search overviews. According to the court, previous limited liability protections for search engine operators don't apply to AI overviews. In this case, Google's AI had falsely linked two publishers to fraud and made claims that didn't appear in any of the linked sources. The ruling could set a precedent for AI-generated content liability worldwide.
