Is there a way we can expand on this model? I think every car model deserves its own airbrushed character class. Electric -rogue Crossover -barbarian Sedans -ranger Pickup trucks don’t get anything until they lower hood profiles to below 5th grader height. Then they can have fighter.

I made a mountain of lemongrass pork and have been working through it with the perseverance of a North Dakotan dirt farmer on account of being the only one in my family to eat it. It’s too heavy on the soy, but otherwise fairly good and you can dress it up so it looks more impressive than it is.

Just watched Arco with my kid. So French! Bittersweet, lonely, contemplative, and beautiful. Some questionable character model decisions aside, the animation is gorgeous. My son liked it, but it’s heavy stuff for a kid’s movie.

I think a remake is the perfect choice for Nintendo to deliver this kind of safe, high-fidelity, photorealistic experience. Hopefully this will placate the type of fan who’ve always clamored for this approach and they can continue to be more visually inventive with new games.

There is a particular quality to most overt conservative art that isn’t just hyper-realistic, but soulless. There’s a pursuit of technical mastery at the expense of any exploration which produces art that is both cheesy and dead-eyed. Realism still requires curiosity to make anything meaningful.
