A grocery store in Pforzheim, Germany, published a job vacancy on Facebook. A reply reads: "It would be better if you hire Germans w/o migration background, otherwise my family won't shop with you anymore." The store's reply is something to behold. I append a translation. [Post & reply verified]

Wissen Sie aber, was uns tatsächlich hart treffen würde?

Here is a sample of Denby's economic expertise: "Bond markets... don't believe in Britain, they think we are too much of a risk, because of our out-of-control spending and our out-of-control taxes and all of those things." I hope the Nobel Economics Prize Committee is paying attention.

Exactly my point. We need to look at our habits and change things but it takes time. EVs are the equivalent of vapes. A better alternative to weening us of more polluting cars. When we live in walkable green cities with good jobs that don’t make us need stimulants like nicotine, it’ll be great 😌

It’s called the bus, or a bike or god forbid even using one’s legs. Most people don’t need to drive. But they enjoy it and find it convenient, even though it poisons the air and damages children’s lungs. Sometimes other people’s habits are annoying but we live in a tolerant society

Hope you don’t drive a car then, cos diesels and petrol pump out the equivalent of a 1000 cigarettes a minute into the air. EVs bombard it with microplastics from excessive tyre wear and the monumental impact of lithium mining.

Same as driving a car. People zooming around, invading my space with toxic smelly exhaust fumes, often playing loud music and clogging out the roads. Even the electric ones damaging the environment with their excessive microplastic tyre discharge and lithium consumption.

These marathons were one of his defining achievements. And the British media pretended there was no evidence they happened. That it was just something he 'claimed' to have done... Now try and tell me their hounding was about "getting to the truth" RIP Jason 😢 26/26

Jason's 30 marathons in 35 days was a life-defining achievement. And everything I have referenced so far was available for journalists to find. But they chose to claim there was "no evidence" of it happening. Imagine what that must have felt like for him 😢 11/

Stamp duty and council tax are terrible taxes. Land value tax could replace both - and Andy Burnham has backed it for 16 years. Who wins? Who loses? What happens to house prices? LVT could drive growth. But it isn’t easy. Our model shows its promise - and its problems.

You take in an animal to be part of the family. Doesn’t matter what health conditions they might have down the road. I’ve had mostly ‘mongrels’ that live long healthy lives and ‘lineaged’ dogs die young of disease. My boy is prime bred but has defects so was unwanted. Costs me 000s, gives me joy

Farage can be dealt with later. Not through media pressure bc they don’t give two curly wurleys. This govt is a bag of nothing. Get a leader that will take swift wins and we’ve got a progressive govt for 7 years+ They can then deal with Farage through law and committee. Media trial will go nowhere

Why do you need to give your dog a snap collar, just teach them to walk nicely rather than wrench their head. Also the cutesy dressup just makes them look miserable. Appropriate outerwear for their breed and your climate is all they need. They ain’t dolls
