I asked him let's say in a direct manner to pull my entire medical history and reread it. I'm not addicted to any medication. He said he could only give morphine, which is unpleasant. I said sure! Anything! Next time I threw up on the triage nurse and never had trouble at that hospital again.

I was born with a bad health roll so I've had recurring infections, routine organ fuckery, and at least one major birth defect that impacts my daily. Despite it all I do what I need, take my meds, and keep my mobility up as best I can. So when an ER doc implied I was pain drug seeking I blew up.

I thankfully don't get the "have you tried losing weight" often even though I'm obese, but the one time I agreed to try to shed some lbs with a glp1 to help relieve pressure on my bad hip, insurance rejected my claim. Apparently, I've never tried losing weight to them. I eat at maintenance.

A mammogram technician refused at the appointment to do the requested scans or any scans at all for lumps in my breast tissue that we suspected were cancerous because "I'm too young". Had to get them removed as part of my reduction surgery. Benign thankfully.

I have an allergy to sulfa antibiotics because it causes me lung damage. I told a doctor that once and he said I am wrong and he's an expert in lung health. A quick Google search can provide multiple studies on the phenomenon which again I have personally experienced.

Oh man where to begin When I was unable to eat due to an untreated anxiety disorder "At least you're losing weight!" Endometrioma cyst ruptured requiring multiple morphine doses "You just have really bad cramps!" After a full hysterectomy which he performed "So let's do an IUD for birth control"
