2023 was an awful year for me. Grad school, layoffs, death, serious injuries and illness. I'm determined to learn and move into 2024, not being naive enough to think that bad things will stop happening because a calendar rolled over, but because I have learned to be more resilient.

Bizarre find of the day: Burt Ward has his own line of dog food. And graphic design is his passion.

A large bag of “Gentle Giants” dog food. The entire bag is covered with poor quality photos of Burt Ward’s family, his dogs, and several publicity photos from when he was TV’s Robin. There’s also walls of text in every font and color imaginable, describing each of Ward’s dozen or so dogs, his kids, his passion for dog food, the ingredients of said dog food, and stories of several other dogs who lived to their mid-20’s. In the center of the bag is a large 50% OFF sticker and a note saying it was “priced for quick sale.”
