i was at the paint store today and got talking to a guy about his bone conduction headphones -- he was like, oh, i bike too and i can totally hear a bike bell or 'on your left' in these things even if i'm blasting the music while i ride.

it's great at churning out mediocre content which a lot of industry thinks is good enough. in a corp world, good enough at a seemingly lower cost is ... good enough. that's what i think the fight is against, a willingness to accept beige when there's a rainbow out there waiting to be seen.

ai doesn't have real follow up questions, i feel like that's the main difference. it doesn't ask if your reader understands a term, or if there's a better way to explain that thing, or. it also doesn't fully interrogate sources, like, was that thing funded by the Science Haters of America?

when i thinned the herd a few years back i got rid of my old bianchi road bike, the terra tech, a classic schwinn crossbike... i'm on my 4th e-bike, 1) didn't have enough range, 2) battery failed 3) torque sensor fritzed out couldn't get a new one. i'm on a bosch drive ride now, works great.
