this isn't as bleak as it should be. i maxxed out my dental coverage this year, they will pay zero dollars until jan and i'm not done. i spent a pile on specs that aren't covered. insurance through the ACA is affordable but i still ended up shellling out thousands on other non-optional care.

got talking to my fellow lap swimmers today about how i gave myself tennis elbow trying to get a 100 mile swim done. old guy in my lane says he does 1000 yards at a go. i stop at 1/4 mi because i don't want to gack my arm again. i like how you can't tell how fit a swimmer is by looking at them.
