A far away friend sent my doggo this blanket she made for him. It's not the first time he's received handmade gifts or support for his care. People love this second hand weirdo and it fills my heart. I hope he knows how adored he is.

dogs are great coz sometimes they're like "HEY LET'S GO CHECK OUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD NO REASON." and you have to go coz they're insistent and later you're all, "I needed that." (The dog in question)

Hundreds of my neighbors were out exploring the mystical gooey critters that live in the Puget Sound tidal zone and it is maybe my favorite thing about living in West Seattle. Nature is crazy, yo, and we are part of it.
