I got a notice from C’s doctor’s office saying I need to call them to reschedule (they fired his pediatrician for being vocal about poor hospital working conditions) and I know the people on the phone aren’t in charge but I will be making my displeasure about this known. Politely. But still.

My friend Garrett once absolutely skewered a guy for saying something sexist, and when someone else tried to defend him by saying 'he's just saying it to get a reaction' Garrett followed with 'well this is the reaction, is anyone enjoying it?' The sexist was silent the rest of the night.
