Are you up for a raid? If so and you are on before 2 I can see if the Cosy Coven are interested in raiding

It was only on the market for a couple of years in the US - in Europe there were 1st party games coming out for it up until 1996! The NES struggled here in part due to poor distribution, I knew a few with them towards the end of the systems life as it was being heavily discounted in adv of SNES.

I got about 1 hours of sleep last night - so need to get through work today then will crash out. So pre-emptively cancelling stream - I'll do a bonus Saturday or Sunday stream to make up for it!

perfect. Then the luck ran out and a vintage aircraft charter flight crashed in the mountains, deep digging started and the extent of how often ex-AF guys were violating airspace and taking risks that Civilian trained crews who flew by the book would not came out. It was a serious eye opener.

Yes. I remember someone complaining about a US airline trying to attract people from poorer backgrounds who can't afford the $500k needed to get an ATPL saying it should be Airforce only. The Swiss found ex-Air Force guys would take huge risks and because the white bro culture checks would come back

You know what we don’t do enough anymore? Big harvest festival orgies. No one wants to put on the animal mask to dance around the fire for the delight and edification of the village matriarchs. Instead, it’s all avocado toast and tiktoks.

I hope those doing PlayExpo this year at least survive the Norbreck - I'm not going this year so am safe from Norvid or mould related sickness. I do see the trip advisor reviews are full of bloodstains and nail clippings so the hotel's back to it's normal standards.

The attitude of simply playing everything available to you, regardless of how it was produced or whether it’s even accurate to the real experience, is driving us up the fucking wall. Mindless, uncritical consumption is how we get Palmer Luckey releasing Game Boys built with murder drone parts.

I use it for some vocab and 15 min refreshers, but OMG is it getting very questionable with phrasing, pronunciation and even just random noises instead of correct things, which you have to reproduce because saying it correctly is wrong.

Pretty much - He-Man is basically just a magical girl, but as an adult you find yourself cheering on Skeletor more. Same with Transformers, kids love the Autobots, but as an adult the scheming and infighting of the decepticons is far more interesting!

010

NekoDiva 🏳️‍⚧️ back from VeXpo! @nekodiva.com · 21/09/2026

The original show was pretty similar in terms of writing - Skeletor being a fantastic OTT villain is what carries it. I've not seen the film yet, should probably add to my rental list.
