One of the advantages of our assessment model is that it uses AI to reduce workload BUT it also ensures every script is seen twice by a human. We can reduce the time it takes to assess a class set of essays down to about 15 minutes. It's all explained here. help.nomoremarking.com/en/article/h...

8 years ago we stopped writing comments in pupils' books and moved to whole class feedback. Teacher workload and pupil outcomes improved dramatically as a result. We have never looked back. Very pleased to see our case study in @katejonesteach.bsky.social excellent new book.

This term we've been working with 40 schools on using Comparative Judgement to assess oracy. The first set of results are now out - you can read about them here. blog.nomoremarking.com/assessing-or... We assessed students from Years 4 - 9 and the top score went to a Year 6!
