Just woke up to a sharp crack of thunder rattling the house and a flash flood warning. The street is a creek and the yard looks like a turbulent lake. I'm fine. Really. It's just very rude imho and I'm certain others here are having a far worse night.

It looks like it will be a bit damp this week. The forecast is for 3.5" here in Las Cruces - that is a LOT of water for such a short time frame and it won't even be the worst of it. The goatheads are gonna have a field day with this 😕

NPD. This Magus Pro is the first pedal I've ever had from TC Electronics and it nails the whole ProCo Rat thing perfectly. As you can see from my settings l like a fat Rat. I'll be shuffling things around on my boards today to make it a permanent addition.

NPD. Again. I'm not mad at this. This Satone is a one trick budget pony, but it does that trick very, very well. This pedal is a hard clipper that has gain for days and it very nearly hits that sweet spot that exists somewhere between a Rat and a Metal Zone, which is what I like.

NPD, again - Klowra Dive Pitch Shifter. This thing is insane in a very good way. Controls are actually simple and intuitive. The octaver effects I can mix with this thing are sweet, and the signal stays together surprisingly well when you slide into the basement -3 octaves down. Yes, -3. Easy. 😈

NPD. It's a tuner. It's not any more or less accurate than my other tuners, but it's easier to read at a glance and more responsive. However, I am NOT sure what that creature on the front is. My mind says angry ape - but I could be completely wrong here. Anyone have a different interpretation?

NPD - imho this Caline Cyprian is basically a klon clone. It sounds very, umm, klon. I mean, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. I just don't vibe with the whole klon thing as prefer my dirt with a little more bite. This one is going back in the box after I write up my full review.

NPD - the Limited Edition Gold version of the Catalinbread Blood Donor, one of a final run of fifty. It's a variant of the Katzenkönig, which has roots in Rat and Tone Bender circuits. This plays properly well with the clean Orange amps I like to run!
