No one should be denied access to health care simply because of who they are or who they love. Dignity should be at the center of receiving health care: LGBTQI+ patients should feel welcomed, safe, and listened to, and get the care they need.

We strongly condemn Israeli forces’ attacks against paramedics in Lebanon, including the May 12 killing of two Lebanese Civil Defense workers in Nabatiyeh who were actively trying to save someone who survived a previous attack.
Graphic saying:

Paramedics were simply doing their job and trying to save lives. Then they were hit by a drone.

Attacks on health care are unacceptable and must not be normalized.

On May 12, 2026, an Israeli drone strike hit three paramedics as they were attempting to assist an injured person who survived a previous attack in southern Lebanon.

In Nabatiyeh and across southern Lebanon, rescue and medical teams are increasingly forced to delay or limit life‑saving interventions because of the fear of being targeted.
