These photos of cockatiels in flight at Gluepot are overexposed so technically not great (don't argue with me - I know what I'm talking about 🙂) but worth sharing to show their joie de vivre. I love the flared tail on that one parrot 😀

i should clarify, when i write people doing bad things, it's because i am bad. they are me. more importantly, when you read about those bad things, they also become you. that's how story works. in fact, you are going to think about murder before this skeet ends. how's that feel, sicko.

you can go anywhere, vash. even if you’re in the dark right now— (1/5) #trigun

Sequential illustrations of various Vash’s throughout his journey in Trigun Max through the use of the zero gravity space, floating. The background is flat black. First, younger Vash is curled into a ball, his knees pulled near his chest and arms crossed against them, looking at a star. Palette is warm yellow. Next is Vash, Rem, and Knives floating together, Rem at Vash’s left with a hand on his shoulder and her other hand on Knives’ arm. Knives floats from the top down, arms open to release confetti and stars. Palette of greens, Knives in a warmer hue. Then young Vash and Knives are back to back in their ch.76 outfits, Knives faces upwards with a scythe formed out of his wrist and a bullet hole at his shoulder. He’s color in red. Vash leans against his knee, a hand holds a gun, the other freshly cut and bandaged. He’s color in teal green. The last Vash, now older, is of pre-Trimax. He’s further curled in on himself, his coattails float upwards to cover him. Color in teal blue and red.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door inadvertently depicts Peach as the quickest typist in the world. She is able to type up a 126-word email in exactly 3 seconds, making her 8 times faster than the current typing speed world record.

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Peach sends multiple emails to Mario during the plot. Almost all of them take her exactly 3 seconds to type.
The length of the emails she types in 3 seconds varies from 54 words to the longest one seen below, at 126 words.
Peach: I'm OK
My Dearest Mario, I send this letter in the hope that it reaches you safely. I am being held against my will in some strange place. Though I do not know where I am, I remain unharmed and in relative comfort.
Those who have captured me seem to be after the map I sent to you earlier. They may be hoping to use it to find objects they call the "Crystal Stars." I do not know what they are planning, but I have a feeling it is not anything positive.
Mario, please collect these Crystal Stars before they do. You must! They are already aware that you have the map, so please be very careful.
And please... Don't worry about me.
-Princess Peach-
At the current world record typing speed of 319 words per minute, Peach should have been able to get about this far into the email.
In order to finish the email in three seconds, she needed to type with an a speed of 2520 words per minute, 7.9 times the world record.
While the quick typing is clearly merely a way to make the scene move along more quickly and should not be taken as accurate depiction of Peach's typing skills, it is still humorous to imagine the implications arising from it if taken at face value.

Stepping up for science… and snacks. Our ravens, Yami and Moku, were too eager to get on the scale one at a time. Daily checks are an important part of the care of all of our ambassadors, but for the ravens they're just eager to grab a treat and get back to mischief! 🪶

9 times out of 10, I can sit quietly and patiently while dealing with heat and dust and flies - and get nothing. Then, on that 10th time, the universe will gift me a moment like this. Two cockatiels landed right in front of me at Gluepot - right in the spot I was hoping they would land. A miracle!

Due to heavy autumn and winter rains across central Australia, I predicted that it would be a bumper spring/summer season for budgies and cockatiels. Well, I wasn't wrong! There were 1000s of budgies and cockatiels at Gluepot. That's not an exaggeration. It was incredible.
