LITERALLY every day I see posts of people trying to rehome budgies. Or even posts of people asking if they should release their budgies. I know they often are not the most tame birds but it makes me sad. If I had the resources, I would take them all and be a budgie sanctuary.

I didn't post it the day of, but started a new D&D game with some friends! Decided to play a fighter because I hate keeping track of spells and stuff. Of course, I had to make an aarakocra based on one of my birds! Even got some dice and an outfit for the occasion!

Idk if this is like truly bad or whatever, but the parakeets basically aren't caged anymore. Ever since I had to give Melon antibiotics, she has been in open rebellion against me. She has never been super tame, but at the very least I taught her one thing: used to be when I said "go home!"
