You're using a password manager. The site forces you to type the password manually because it doesn't allow clipboard access. Or you're trying to log in. The site asks you to prove you're not a robot. You click through eight squares showing traffic lights. One has a tiny piece in it. You misclick. Try again. Fail twice more. After ten minutes, you give up planning to try and pay your bills tomorrow.

Trying to shy away from smart phones. Found this Nokia 8110 aka Matrix phone. Runs KaiOS, dual sim, 4G.
Nat holds a Nokia 8110 phone. Also known as the Matrix phone. It’s an old school bar style phone with a screen at the top and the old T9 style keyboard on the bottom. The neat part of this phone is that keyboard has a slide out cover.

Perhaps best way to get AI companies to "slow down" is just to create a simple law that will hold the CEO personally responsible for any damages their teams do. If your employee writes code that hacks a bank -> CEO goes to prison for a long time. Used to be called accountability. That should do it.
