Long-time followers of mine will know this story. Growing up in Columbia, SC in the 80s, we were repeatedly victimized by possibly the stupidest local TV network decision in history. This movie was shown in two parts on the Sunday before Easter and Easter Sunday in the primetime 7:00 PM slot.

I just watched Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and it was...actually pretty awesome. Like, a ton better than I expected. Not great cinema by any stretch of the imagination but it was a really fun watch.

I auditioned for the play and got to deliver Sam's story about his daughter pointing to a doorknob and saying "Da" because she was saying "look dad, a doorknob." I loved every minute of it. I have also used "Well, if you strenuously object then I should take some time to reconsider" more than once.

Every time I read about some prostitution ring being busted I always laugh at the declaration talking about the brave manly cop who bravely let 10 beautiful women blow him for over a month for great justice, and I always wonder, why don't we ever hear these stories when they bust gay prostitutes?
