We have exciting news for anyone interested in ISO’s plain language standard. Quite a few countries have translated and adopted the standard. Additional countries are selling the standard. The International Plain Language Federation has put together a list of these countries. bit.ly/3G4YTwH 1/4

Back from the three-day #DTT Symposium in Worms on #Terminology and #AI: I gained valuable insights and inputs for our projects, enjoyed the tutorial with E. Evers (University of Hildesheim) on gender and terminology work, really liked the pleasant atmosphere and the exchange with (new)colleagues.🔝🔝

Inizio con una mia fissazione stagionale: FOLIAGE è una parola inglese, NON fa rima con “fromage” 🧀🇫🇷 ❌. In inglese la “a” di foliage è muta, come nelle parole marriage e carriage, quindi la pronuncia italiana adattata dovrebbe essere “fòlieg” /ˈfɔliedʒ/: www.terminologiaetc.it/2018/10/24/p...
