Does anyone else start conjuring up OC / ship situations in their brains before getting ready to sleep. Like I need to formulate good things to think about to ease me into dreamland, gotta have that self indulgent film playing in my brain

The idea of redrawing something I loved but made for a person who turned out to be super toxic is oddly rewarding in it's own sense. Like reclaiming it as mine.

Don't let a motherfucker steal your joy. Watch cartoons, build LEGO kits, get your friends together and play board games, coo at your pets and call them your precious stinky babies, blow off dandelion fluff, whatever sparks joy. Cringe is dead, be free.

Hello this is my transmasc genderfluid oc, Lamarr :3 He's a siren, a widely hated type of yōkai in the Rise universe, and because of that his bloodline haunts him. He falls in love with Leo, which sets into motion a few events that lead to him discovering the truth behind the death of his parents.

tbh i'm so fucking tired of the anti-AI focus on art, the Product, and not the horrific human/environmental cost of the process. not that AI proponents care, but they sure as shit don't care about Making Art. they reject the health and safety of the world at large. it's fascism and they like it.

The hardest lesson to learn when you are recovering from depression is that your isolation is just making you worse. Go be with friends that uplift you and love you. It works wonders.

I feel now more than ever it is important to tell creatives you enjoy their work. With everything going on in the world and all that's pushing back against creatives, kind words and support are going to mean everything.

Artists feel pressured to make new art too quickly at the moment. Normalise artists fucking disappearing for months. Just walk off into the woods for a year and come back with a single sketch. It’s good for you

I've been thinking a lot about comics lately and the craft and calling of making them. So I wrote myself a comics manifesto. Please comment, share, steal, or disregard.

As a really dumb person who posts both sfw and nsfw to the same account, I yearn for an internet where we don’t need to second guess sharing kinky shit. If it truly leaves an impression on you, consider sharing. There’s no shame in porn as an art form and also lowkey it’s an act of resistance rn

Ask from Tumblr: "Did leo tickle ana's butterfly wing before or bite it gently? Is she sensitive to it?" Yeah I definitely had a thought about Leo gently kissing Ana's wing and the part where it attaches to her shoulder blade. And it's pretty sensitive. #rottmnt #riseofthetmnt #oc #rottmntoc #art
