On customer service with @nytimes.com (multi hour holds while working). Finally get a human who says they have no ability to solve any of my authentication issues. I ask to cancel. They HANG UP. 30 year subscriber and they won’t even solve a simple login issue. And then ducks the cancel. Nice.

I think the world would be a better place if everyone went to a minor league game and learned to keep box-scores. It takes study, undivided attention and real mental effort. It is 100% a meditative practice. Plus hot dogs and community and beer. And I don't even like baseball.

I for one do not think it’s “crazy” that watergate took down Nixon and the suggestion that it was says way more about this admin than me. I honestly don’t care about parties but feel pretty strongly about the rule of law.
