Giving the rest of my usual podcast slate a break in lieu of a full re-listen to @thirtytwentyten.bsky.social. Man oh man do I miss y’all, @lecinenerd.bsky.social. Never personally met any of the crew that rotated over the decade but you all felt like good friends nonetheless.

Dropped Adventures of the Gummi Bears onto our local Plex server and my daughter has really been digging it. It’s amazing that forty years have passed and the same content I enjoyed as a kid still holds up. Guess the rest of the Disney Afternoon is next.

Found my box of what remains of my big box pc games. Thinking these are going up on eBay.

Oh are we tortieposting?

It was this guy. The CD-ROM drive was a tray though, not the caddy version pictured here.

Sure, I’ll do the thing. My 9 games #My9Games my9games.net/en/share/8cb...

Somebody needs to bring back these phone cases.

010

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

I just kinda wanted to see a bunch of Joy-Cons lined up.

000

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

I know Hobby Lobby is slop central these days but this seems particularly egregious.

000

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Fuuuuuck, put this on my watchlist last night and checked in on multiple times today only to forget about it until like 15 minutes after it ended. Probably would have been outbid anyway I guess.

000

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Dang, sat on my hands too long.

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

Just wrapped up Donkey Kong Bananza and now I’m sad I don’t have any more Donkey Kong Bananza to play.

000

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

I love when I find one (sometimes both!) of our cats curled up in our clothes.

010

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

I wish Nintendo was more colorful with their carts over the years like they were with the Famicom.

030

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

I love that these Donkey Kong Bananza challenges basically have you breaking the game wide open.

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

I’ve seen a kids storybook version for sure. My daughter has a Pride & Prejudice version too.

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

I loved the space shuttle as a kid. I asked for this game. It was one of the last NES games I received as a gift while the console was still getting new releases. I still have it, box and all. It’s pure, unmitigated trash.

This is our tipped old man.

020

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

The tipped ear is largely how we tell our cats apart from across the room. (Second cat is a mostly-black tortie.)

It’s easy to forget how much better speakers used to be when they actually had room to exist in the casing of the television.

000

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Goddamn Famicom carts are so colorful.

000

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Ooo, ooo, I can do one of those cool kids CRT shots.

010

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Dug my rarely-used CRT out of the closet today and wanted to play some NES on it only to discover that there’s not a shred of a RCA cable left in the house. I’m guessing at some point I donated or recycled the lot of them. Ah well, my AV-modded Famicom will suffice for now.

The Nokia 3300 was my first cell phone. Not entirely sure why I bought it since I rarely texted at that time. I think I just thought it looked cool

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

I need to carve out a self care day for myself someday and go hit as many pinball spots in New Orleans as possible.

020

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

I’ve long maintained that Anne Hathaway’s character in “The Princess Diaries” was more attractive with the wavy hair and glasses. Absolutely the kind of girl I’d be crushing on in high school.

I'm running a comparable rig, and as much as I want to drop in a new GPU (Ideally a RX 9070) to get a bit better performance with less heat output and less power usage, I'm having a hell of a time convincing myself to do so.

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

I similarly try to keep my collectibles to a minimum but NECA broke me as well with their Sesame Street figures.

010

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

I started this backup on July 15th. I just...I just want to move to my new NAS. Fuck.

000

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

Oh for fucks sake, I bought this at Walmart for $20 literally yesterday.

100

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

It’s only $10, but that’s $10, man.

110

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

Shit, and I thought I made a good deal at $40 for a 256GB Samsung card a few weeks back. Of course I already threw away that packaging so I can’t return it.

130

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

Does the Pioneer Laseractive count? That thing's a chonker; could probably kill a man.

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

My dad accidentally planted some jalapeños and offered them to me, so I’m trying this guy’s “Cowboy Candy” recipe: youtu.be/7yy5Qjdnzjs?...

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

Spotted this yesterday in my “saved for later” section of Amazon.

0131

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 18/06/2026

I just want to sleep y’all.

000

Milton @mzero85.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

As usual, ignores every cat bed I’ve ever bought (past a few initial uses) but shit yeah, lemme get in on that kid’s chair situation.

Found an old anime convention flier while going through some old paperwork and later found some photographs from said actual con. Goddamn this was almost 24 years ago. EXIF data on the photos says they were taken with a HP Photosmart 612, a 2 megapixel digital camera. @nattosoup.bsky.social
