Dropped Adventures of the Gummi Bears onto our local Plex server and my daughter has really been digging it. It’s amazing that forty years have passed and the same content I enjoyed as a kid still holds up. Guess the rest of the Disney Afternoon is next.

The last Grand Theft Auto title I played was Grand Theft Auto 2 on my PC back in the late 90s. And I’ve played a bit of Minecraft, but there’s so little structure to that game that I tapped out pretty early. Maybe I should go back and give it another go.

That was peak NES for me. I got it for my birthday in 1989 and I was the kid that more or less skipped over the SNES and played my NES throughout that period. Kirby’s Adventure felt like the most epic game ever at the time; first game I remember “100%ing”. It’s very special to me.

Winter in Louisiana is also maybe two, three weeks tops. But yeah, it’s funny how you can tell that the temperature is dropping simply based on the A/C not kicking on as often.
