I've heard people make claims that AI would lead to a new Renaissance, but I didn't imagine it'd happen like this:

In the break room of the building that I have my office in, people are allergic to taking the last of shared treats that are available for everyone. Like people will slice and dice donuts and brownie bites as long as it means they’re leaving some behind. I do not have that problem.

I don't think the 'cult deprogramming' argument works for public figures! If you're a regular person, listening empathically to your anti-vaxx aunt is fine. If you're a public official speaking to millions, though, the message has to be "MAHA is killing kids," not "MAHA has some good points."
