Rant: Pope, would you please shut the fuck up about matters you do not understand? You're not an Ai influencer, no one elected you, and you have absolutely no weight in this debate and you're being used as a mouthpiece to sway public opinion. how many local models do you run?

Community notes: The Pope is elected by cardinals in a Conclave which gathers in the Sistine Chapel.

I didn't think I'd have to say this, but let's put it here for posterity: If you're a reviewer, and you have an anti-AI policy for the writing but are perfectly fine with AI-generated covers, I can't trust you. Being explicitly fine with slop covers inherently devalues your opinions to me.

The more GEN AI creeps into everyday life the more people will miss the amateur art around them. School murals done by students, hole-in-the-wall restaurant menus put together by an employee using free clipart, even "bad" paintings done at a drink and paint event-Things with human imperfections.

Then they unfollow me and I wonder if it was my art that caused it or if the person is just one that "grows their following" by temporarily following

Hi #PortfolioDay! I'm Tiffany, an illustrator from the UK making historical, queer, & fantasy art, including for books and TTRPGs. I'm open for work from August onwards! www.tiffanybaxter.com 💌tiffany.baxter@btinternet.com

An illustration of Francesca & Michaela from Bridgerton. They are walking with their arms around each other's waists, their free arms held above their heads pulling with them the sky in the form of a great length of cloth that is folding around them. Michaela is a Black woman with tight curls in an updo; her simple empire line dress is forest green & she has green drop earrings. Francesca is a white woman in a blue dress, with part of her light brown hair held up in a bun, the rest in a large ringlets. The background is an abstractly rendered Highland landscape in coloured pencils. The border is an aerial view of trees rendered the same.

An illustration of two Anglo-Saxon era lesbians. One is embracing the other from behind, burying her face in her neck while the other smiles joyfully, they are adorned by a background of various patterns inspired by the era's artwork, including metalwork & jewellery as well as illuminated manuscripts. The patterns involve a lot of swirling & abstract floral & animal motifs. The woman being embraced is standing at a warp-weighted loom which is being used to weave a fabric in colours of the lesbian flag (orange, white and pink).

Illustrations done in an early medieval manuscript & Pictish artwork inspired style of St. Columba and St. Oswald. L: Columba is dressed in a brown monk's habit and has a grey beard and thinning hair. He holds a book with a red and gold chequerboard pattern cover and a simple crozier. He is on an orange background with stylised representations of his 12 companions in red linework. In a section beneath, on a black background is the Loch Ness monster and fish. R: Oswald is dressed in a blue tunic with gold edges and a red cloak. He has chestnut coloured beard & long hair which is curled and long. He has a scabbard at his waist and holds out a silver plate of bread. He wears cross-gartered boots over green leggings. Below are 3 figures shown much smaller representing those he is giving alms to. Behind is a knotwork design in yellow, orangey red, and green.

A square illustration of a red, green, yellow & blue medieval inspired griffin (half eagle, half lion) with one fore-talon raised. It's on a gold background with a green border decorated with concentric white circles.

First batch of Artfight attacks that are my personal favs #Artfight #Artfight2026 #TeamMystery 1 - Porion from @solarwola.bsky.social (ft. Captain Perkins from @mickc-motm.bsky.social) 2 - Pyxis from @/keekiiiam (on IG and AF)

A two panel comic strip on portrait featuring Captain Robert Perkins, a Royal Navy captain in the 1760s above on the first panel, and Polrion, a diety of the sea as a Cornish pirate at the bottom which is the second panel.

The first part of the panel shows Captain Perkins' having a distaste on pirates. The inner dialogue on upper right from Capt. Perkins said, "Great, I have to deal with these pesky"
The second panel continues with "Pirates!" on bottom left from his inner dialogue. It shows Polrion smirking on the bottom right of the panel which shows his mischief.

(Fyi, I typed this description on my laptop without using certain application aka I do not use AI while writing this obviously)

Saw a claim just now that basically every story is designed to showcase OCs and like, I despair a little of the current media landscape if that's a commonly held belief Plenty of stories ARE like this of course, but the best works usually have a bit more to say than "look at my blorbos"

Also, "prompt" used to be when you ask people for responses to something on social media (like answers to a question, fun facts about their OC, etc). Now it's associated with the crap you type in for AI generating and I feel the need to come up with a new word to avoid confusion. 🫤
