Got the chance to give my first presentation on my project exploring dominant mycorrhizal types and their impacts on the mycobiomes of the sugar maple and eastern hemlock! Still lots of work to go (results-wise) but it was an awesome experience - the CEF family is awesome!

Does anyone have example pictures of what root lesions on tree seedlings look like? I am trying to measure % root lesion using the magnified intersections method at 100x magnification (following Bennett 2017, Liang 2021, and Maron 2014) but do not know what these lesions look like

We had our 4 à mycète last week and it was a huge success! Fungi and art are natural allies, and it was great to showcase some of our local artists and their fungal creations - and our chanterelle beer flew like hotcakes! All said and done, we raised $400+ for the future fungarium at UdeS 🍄💚🍄💚
