Poll shows bipartisan support for reducing air pollution and growing clean energy
A new poll conducted by Voice of the People in partnership with the Program for Public Consultation found that in a number of Congressional districts large majorities of Democrats and Republicans support reducing emissions and promoting clean energy. The survey found that 94 percent of Democrats and 79 percent of Republicans think that working to reduce air pollution should be a high priority for the government. 93 percent of Democrats and 69 percent of Republicans said the same for reducing global warming pollution. The survey also found significant bipartisan support for clean energy. “Reducing the pollution that harms our environment and our health is important to the majority of Americans, regardless of party,” said Johanna Neumann, Senior Director of the Campaign for 100% Renewable Energy at Environment America Research & Policy Center. “Getting more of our power from renewable energy sources is one of the best ways we can reduce pollution and build a cleaner and greener future.” Efficiency & electrification take center stage at global climate conference Energy Conservation & Efficiency Efficiency & electrification take center stage at global climate conference September 28, 2026 California is using and storing more solar energy 100% Renewable California is using and storing...
