Well, the main problem is that power bills exist

It's important not to use the True Names of anime or the anime will have power over you

Harris lost because half because she seems like she's on benzos all the time and half because voters check in maybe once a year and don't want a weird Californian

Nobody knows very well how they work, including anyone who works on them. They don't work anything like his old AI theories though, so he's having to retcon them to make them fit

Welfare means they have to pay more, not less! Giving people money means they have more negotiating power with their employer

MVB @mvb.kirinok.osaka · 23/09/2026
The main point of welfare is to feed people who don't work (children and the elderly), so this is just saying Amazon shouldn't be allowed to hire single mothers (who don't have time to work more hours because they have kids)

There isn't any "marketing", the AI labs are entirely staffed by literal-minded rationalists. The internals are both simple and emergent, so you could say they're boring and samey but also that we don't know what's going on in there

I think Will Stancil basically has oppositional defiance poster’s disorder and that it’s a condemnation of this website that this has led to him in the last several years into assuming a ton of plainly just rational and correct positions

The basic issue is they want the models to know how to eg search the web, and they think this means it needs to see the real web instead of a fake one. Which may or may not be true

Walking doesn't get your heart rate up much unless it's uphill IME, and if you go to the gym to fight winter depression then walking there in the cold and dark, like, totally doesn't help
