My earlier fixation stuck with me and I whipped up the literary equivalent of a sketch over it.

"See, the thing with my kind is that reputation we have for being nurturing and motherly and all that? It's an image thing, pure and simple. What's really going on-"

You shiver as she brushes a finger over your back in a place you can't reach anymore. A horrible wrenching rumble in your stomach draws your eyes past the horizon of your belly to a silver platter covered in little ball sized pastries, each one dusted in powdered sugar and leaking some kind of cream from a little dimpled opening.

"-Is we feed on Dependency. It's just that the ones you hear about can control their appetites a bit better, little bite-sized-portions of your agency, you know? So you don't quite end up so far gone, and don't grow these in any visible capacity."

The next thing her finger grazes are the little nubs of horns sprouting from your brow. You feel that shiver run deeper, somewhere in the back of your brain, making you take a step toward the platter even though you know it's a trap. You can already barely walk, your thighs and the deep nest of fat between your legs have blurred together as it is and they graze the floor with every other shuffling 'step' you take. Your mouth is already watering though, and your fingers trying in vain to reach past your ripples and rolls toward that mirror-like platter of your doom.
