We got Moki and her Yokai counterpart I wouldn't say I'm great yet, but her hairclips and the necklace were made from scratch! #Misaki3d #VisionTokyo

In other news, been in VRC for a lot longer now, Dancing has been fun! As has learning Blender/Unity. Making my OCs has been a blast too. Got some very fun fits now haha

Heya @guycalledfrank.bsky.social, sorry to come out asking for support but I'm trying to figure out an issue. I updated Bakery to 1.98 and I'm running a 3080 (v 595.79) in Unity 2022.3.6f1 But whenever I try to Render, I get the same "Failed to load OptiX library" and "Unsupported ABI version"

That wasn't the only preview I had by the way...I'm still making a few tweaks on it and getting some more work done for it, but I'm excited with how far it's come since the beginning.

I feel like I've made a revelation in learning Blender: Avoid shortcuts like the plague. That's not to knock them. They're very useful, but at the same time I want to learn where things are/why they are. If I can understand the hierarchy of tools, everything starts falling into place a lot better

030

multimokia @multimokia.studio · 18/03/2026

I kinda wish bsky could handle audio uploads. Might have to make a simple visualizer for here so I can drop previews 👀

Best thing I ever did for myself was host my own Youtrack (similar to jira) server. Keeping track of comms on top of just having a giant wiki I fill out with things I learn has been super useful

I've been putting some time into blender as I've gotten into VRChat a bit more lately... Going between unity and blender feels so weird but I guess those are the quirks I'll get used to over time I find myself having to write down what I'm doing/how to do things. Online answers feel so complicated

multimokia @multimokia.studio · 17/03/2026

I firmly believe LLMs are one of the worst things to happen to the internet. Scouring forums for problems now has garbage LLM output as solutions. It's both obvious, and often either wrong or outdated I hate even going to AI chatbots for solutions because they're also outdated!

So....Native Instruments is going through primary insolvency?? I'm kinda worried about what that means for all of my Kontakt libraries -- Kontakt itself, and all third party activated ones. Who's going to continue it?

I feel like shows are harder to watch as someone who writes music. I need to watch them twice to actually get the full picture, not because I missed details, but because I wasn't paying attention to the video, I was paying attention to the music and interpreting the plot and themes through that.
