I don't know why people don't know their inner voice is being robbed from them. The ability to actually articulate tone and expression.

The thing is I would rather, I think everyone would, receive something that is naturally written, with errors and all that can then be massaged into its final form than what is essentially a kernel of an idea ✖️ a two word prompt ➗ "I didn't re-read this"= me fail english that's unpossible.

I have a serious question for anyone on here (please, someone answer me!). If I know something is being written at work using Ai and it's shit, can I ask this employee why they feel the need to use Ai to do basic writing? It's GARBAGE that I then rewrote. For context I am fine with being a bitch.

Horrifying: Arizona Democratic congressional candidate Bernadette Greene-Placentia was raped by a man after he knocked her out. Another man approached her to do the same. “She began swinging her foot at him. ‘Not even worth it,’ she heard the man say as he moved away.”

I think the thing is, if you read about nazism and the rise of it in Germany and those who took it up, they were stereotypical in all aspects of theirs lives; work, family, religion, repeat. They were bland. And evilness is bland and boring.

I love history and have been a WWII aficionado forever. I have a copy of The Rise & Fall of the Third Reich on my house. Nazis and fascism are abhorrent cancers and I’m glad I know about them, factually.

This paragraph builds and builds the insane comedy but you're not ready for the kicker.
Atelier Missor, active since 2021, describes itself on X as a “classical foundry in Paris, on its way to building a new Rome.” Its founder, Missor Movahed Ghaleh Nouri, has claimed he was drawn to pursue classical sculpture after receiving a vision of Napoleon I while wandering the Place Vendôme in Paris. His staff wear identical tan suspenders, billowy shirts, and unkempt facial hair, and—per previous versions of their website—spent much of the first half of the 2020s producing bronze and clay busts of such figures as (of course) Napoleon, Nietzsche, and Jordan Peterson.

RIP Eve Marie Saint I showed this scene for decades when I taught screen acting. I muted it & asked my students just to focus on Saint & Brando’s subtle body language & of course, the brilliant use of the glove. Saint’s vulnerability & quiet steeliness make the scene sing. youtu.be/dHtJUWO7yeA?...

This was not my experience & wasn't for a lot of people I know. I'm perplexed this is happening. I get it if grandparents are still working or obviously live far away but these are your kids children. My parents would have done anything to help me and for my daughter (they were og 1st wave boomers).

Consent can be revoked at any moment, yet it goes unaddressed in many education programs. This morning, I found myself thinking about the many ways I've faced insults, unwanted touching, and hid myself for safety- experiences all women have navigated in their daily lives. We should do better.

And if journalism completely stops holding anyone accountable, which is its current trajectory, confirmed pompously here by Mark, then why have a magazine at all, you could have a prolific career at BuzzFeed making celebrity lookalike polls. Never mind bringing back shame, bring back intelligence.

Canada is not actually 'battling for survival' in the context of secession, because in both Alberta and Quebec secession has relatively small amounts of public support. What we're battling is dipshit far-right populist politicians enabling/pushing for this destructive bullshit.

I've heard people make claims that AI would lead to a new Renaissance, but I didn't imagine it'd happen like this:
Screenshot of a Tweet from Pope Leo XIV. It reads:

"In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgen to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity."

We’re the greater sex and this is why they have impeded us at any and all turns. God saw Adam and was like, no, I can do better than this dipshit and did.
I keep thinking about the Cornell case and the "free pussy upstairs" text.
Because imagine a woman texting a group of girls:
"Free dick upstairs."
That sentence doesn't even compute. All of us would be like "what the hell are you talking about?"
We don't care about dick like that. We don't hear
"there's a man upstairs" and collectively think about what we can get from his body!! We don't see an unconscious man and suddenly view his body as available to us!
In fact, if women heard there was a man upstairs in a vulnerable state, our first thought would be: is he okay?
Does he need help? Is someone with him?
Not: what can we get from his body?
Instead these men saw a woman in a state of vulnerability and called it "free"
