I have been seeing a lot of posts that voting for option 2 will give Alberta negotiating leverage. Totally ignoring the fact that Ottawa is not a single entity and there are 9 other provinces and a few territories we need to negotiate with. And the affect on the economy.🤦

I live in a small town, I take early flights to Van Is. so I stay at a hotel. Most of the hotel staff, shuttle drivers and people working at the airport are POC. Few "Albertans" would do these jobs for minimum wage at 5am. But let's make their life harder.

I grew up listening to CBC radio, since Steven Harper's government I have been disappointed in the turn right. Lately in Alberta CBC seems to take provincial press releases and use them as sole source of news items and willing to promote the separatists.🥺

Not enough people are aware of the fact that last year, California ran on 100% clean electricity for the equivalent of 51 days – with the grid running on 100% clean energy for some period on 60% of days. Not enough people support climate action because they've been led to believe it's not possible.
